Colonel Muammar Muhammed al-Gaddafi is a revolutionary and politician and also leader of Libya since September 1st 1969. Gaddafi was born on the 7th June 1942 and is currently dead. In February 2011, major political protests inspired by the ones in Tunisia, Libya broke out against Gaddafi's government. This revolution then turned into a civil war. On the 17th May 2011 the international criminal court issued a request for an arrest warrant against Gaddafi for crimes against humanity. He was later [please add date here] found in a ditch and shot by a group of Libyan soldiers searching for him. His last words where apparently "Why are you doing this to me?". He had obviously forgotten the decades of torturing, killing, dictatorship  and generally being mean.
